Parkwall Primary School

The project started & finished over the summer holidays with the complete mechanical & electrical installations being stripped out & new systems installed.

New Biomass boiler plant serves the buildings heating demands with gas fired boilers operating as a back up, individual fan convectors in each room with individual seagate controls ensure maximum efficiency.

A complete new electrical installation throughout in conjunction with new suspended ceilings gives the building a fresh, new feel.

MES acted as the main contractor on this project taking control of the site & all subcontract works including Electrical, Builderswork, Thermal Insulation, Cleaning etc.

Portland Heights

Acting as a sub contractor to the main contractor MES carried out the Mechanical installation works on this project for the domestic services & sanitary installation.

Individual metered mains cold water supplies feed each flat rising through the building and distributed through corridors.

Hot water is generated by means of individual floor standing direct fired hot water heaters within each flat.

The building is electrically heated, with no provision for gas fired boiler plant.

St Michaels Hospital

The refurbishment of the maternity & delivery wards at St Michaels hospital included for the complete strip out and re-installation of Mechanical Services.

This included a new medical gases, ventilation system, heating system & domestic services installation, including supply & fit of new sanitary ware.

Modifications to the cast iron soil stacks at lower ground level was also required to pick up new waste feeds.
